A new concept in educating children about electricity exclusively for Exelon customers
Louie the Lightning Bug® has been educating Exelon kids for many years and he now takes the Exelon safety message home to parents and caregivers, through the Exelon Safety Rangers Club. Through Exelon Safety Rangers, Exelon has the opportunity to reach many more children and educate them on how to avoid potential electrical safety hazards. The new Exelon Safety Rangers Club is free for children up to 12 years of age and offers a variety of fun and educational newsletters, school materials, birthday cards and fun stuff that will continually remind children and parents to “Play it safe around electricity.” When a parent or caregiver signs up their child as a Safety Ranger, they will receive up to four mailings. Each mailing will have different items, but will always emphasize safety and good habits around electricity. Our goal is to reach as many children as possible in our service territory. Also, new to Exelon is the Electric Universe learning web site. This site is 400 pages of fun, exciting games and a lot of great information on electricity and electrical safety. Registering Your ChildSigning up is easy, the parent or caregiver simply fills out the form online in the Louie’s Rangers Kid’s Club section. You will be entered in Louie’s Safety Rangers for one year, At the end of a year, you must apply again for free gifts and safety materials if offered. Maximum age for application is 12 years, please.
